The pump opening joint is a tool connected to the end of the downhole string or fluid control device. When the upper part of the pump opening joint is pressurized from the ground to the flushing pressure, the overflow channel can be opened, so that the pump opening joint can communicate up and down for later maintenance of oil and gas wells.

III. Structural characteristics:
The pump opening joint is composed of adapter, sealing sleeve, plunger, body, shear pin and plug head. See the attached drawings for details. The upper part of the adapter is connected with a pipe string or a fluid control device, and the lower part is connected with a body, and the adapter and the plug form a tool shell. The sealing sleeve is matched with the plunger and installed in the body to play a sealing role. The plunger is a piston with positioning claws on it, and it has shear pin mounting holes, so that shear pins of different pressure levels can be installed as required. When pressurized from the upper part, the sealing sleeve moves together with the plunger; When the sealing sleeve runs to the limit position of the body, the plunger moves to cut the shear pin; At this time, the positioning claw of the plunger is also locked in the lower hole.
1. Installation and disassembly of shear pin:
1.1 Loosen the set screw of the shear pin, and punch out the shear pin with a punch;
1.2 Reinstall the shear pin and tighten the set screw.
2. Run-in operation:
2.1 Connect the pump open joint to the pipe string or fluid control equipment to go in and out of the well;
2.2 pressurize the ground to the shear pin pressure, and observe the ground pressure display. If the pressure drops, it can be judged that the shear pin is cut and the plunger of the pump opening joint is opened;
2.3 complete the construction, lift the pipe string and pull out the tools.
V. Disassembly and assembly:
1.1 first remove the shear pin installed on the plunger;
1.2 use vise to clamp the body;
1.3 remove the adapter with a wrench;
1.4 remove the plug again;
1.5 screw off the hexagon socket head cap screws M6×10； on the plunger;
1.6 use an iron bar to resist the bottom of the plunger from the lower part, and punch out the plunger and sealing sleeve.
2.1 first install the plunger in the sealing sleeve; Attention: up and down direction of sealing sleeve.
2.2 Install the plunger and the sealing sleeve together from the upper part of the body (align the shear pin hole with the groove on the body);
2.3 mount shear pins;
2.4 Screw on screws and set screws;
2.5 install a plug on the lower part;
2.6 Install the adapter on the upper part;
1. When assembling, the threads and seals must be coated with grease;
2. External burrs or scratches of all parts shall be leveled with a file.
1. After the tool is disassembled, check the damage of each component and replace the damaged parts.
2. When assembling, apply a thin layer of grease on the thread surface.
3. After assembly, mark and store for later use.
