                                   1.5 Inch Flopetrol  Cutter Wireline Fishing Tool​

​Ⅰ. Overview:

Flopetrol Cable Cutter,When downhole tools are stuck and cannot be recovered, Use this

tool to cut the steel wire or wire rope from the head of the rope socket.

Ⅲ. Structural characteristics

1.The knotted or deformed steel wire will not be cut off incorrectly, which can

reduce the risk of misoperation.

2. The tool can effectively cut downhole wires or wire ropes at a place (25mm) close

to the head of the rope socket.

3. Replacing taper sleeve can cut wires or wire ropes of different specifications,

and can cut up to 1/4 "(6.4 mm) wire ropes.

4. The wire head can be bent after cutting the wire or the wire rope, and the wire can

be taken out together with the tool when the wire is pulled out.

Ⅳ. Use method

1. Shut off BOP, Remove Lubricator

2. Unscrewing the screws on the extension and knife holder.
3. Fix the slickline from the grooves on the body, extension and hammer.
4. Fix the straight key and tapered key from the bottom of hammer. Fasten the screws.
5. Fix the rotating knife.
6. Cover the knife holder (stationary knife included), making the locating groove and the
pin in alignment, Fasten the knife holder.
7 .Fix the shear pin on the extension and knife holder.
8. Install the lubricators again, leaving the flopetrol cutter above the BOP rams.
9. Open the BOP rams, making the flopetrol cutter run down under its own weight till the
rope socket.
10. Making the flat bottomed type GO devil run down to strike the top of extension of
flopetrol cutter and then cut off.
11.Pull the slickline upwards and make the flopetrol cutter and flat bottomed type GO
devil out of hole.
12. If flopetrol cutter and flat bottomed type GO devil are not pulled out by slickline, some
pulling tools (like R, JU) will be needed for fishing operation.

Ⅴ. Matters needing attention:

1.Unscrew the tool holder and punch out the straight sleeve. The taper sleeve can be

2.changed as required. Pay attention to its positional relationship when installing the blade and tool holder.
