Wireline Valve, also known as Blow Out Preventer (BOP), is used as a safet quipment commonly fund located between Lubricator and Wellhead/Christmas Tree. The design incorporates Ram bodies with inner seals that allow oressure to be contained within the well once the bodies are closed. This allow the pressure above o be bled off while the wire or cable is still intact thereby enable repairing and other works to be carried out on equipment above. The design also features equalising Valves that are fitted to the main body to allow equalisation of lubricator and well pressure when the operation is to be resumed
