I. Overview:
The Grease Injection Control Heads is used to inject sealing grease into the choke pipe to lubricate the cable and seal the ground control equipment of the wellhead.
The high-pressure sealing grease input from the grease pump enters the lower part of the choke pipe and flows upward. During this process, the sealing grease mixes part of the downhole oil and gas, and finally discharges from the upper outlet of the flow pipe. Due to the high viscosity of the sealing grease, the gap between the choke tube and the cable is very small, and the grease injection pressure of the grease injection pump is slightly higher than the wellhead pressure, so a part of the sealing grease flows to the wellhead, and most of it flows upward, causing a large amount of oil in the choke tube. The pressure difference, so as to achieve the effect of sealing the wellhead pressure.
The choke pipe is the key part of the Grease Injection Control Heads, its inner wall is smooth, and the length changes with the well pressure: the higher the well pressure, the longer the length.

II, the main parameters:
1. Rated working pressure: 70MPa;
2. Sealing test pressure: 70MPa;
3. Strength test pressure: 70MPa;
4. Applicable cable specification: 7/32”;

III. Daily maintenance:
1. After use, unscrew the upper connector, the coupling and the lower connector;
2. Take out the choke tube and check the O-ring;
3. Replace the damaged parts and reload them;
4. Carry out a sealing test with a test pressure of 35MPa.

IV, matters needing attention:
1. The gap between the choke tube and the cable is guaranteed to be 0.1-0.2mm. For cables of different diameters, choke tubes with different inner diameters should be selected. And due to the wear between the choke tube and the cable, the choke tube should be checked regularly;
2. When using it again after long-term storage, the strength test should be carried out.
V. Strength test:
1. Install the pressure test connector and connect the pressure test pipeline;
2. Start the pressure test pump for pressure test, the test pressure is 70MPa, the pressure is maintained for 15min, and the test record card is filled in.
