Overview

The hay pulley is used to pull the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) from the top of the blowout preventer to the plane of the steel wire or cable drum, shifting the tension point of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) from the apex to the production tree, thereby reducing the lateral tension load of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) and preventing the blowout preventer from being bent and damaged. It can also be lifted to change the load direction of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope).

Any size can be customized according to customer requirements.

Usage instructions:

1. Connect the ground pulley to the tension gauge (load indicator) and then attach it to the wellhead with a rope. Adjust the length of the rope according to the position of the winch drum to ensure that the steel wire is as parallel as possible to the plane of the drum (that is, the steel wire coming down from the blowout preventer pipe forms an angle of approximately 90 degrees with the steel wire coming out of the drum); 
If you lift the ground pulley to change the load direction of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope), simply pass the hook through the ring and lift the pulley; 
2. Unscrew the locking nut on the pulley bracket, rotate the lock block counterclockwise to open it, and expose the slot on the pulley bracket; 
3. Pass the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) through the slot of the pulley bracket and into the pulley groove; 
4. Rotate the lock block clockwise by 90° and then tighten the locking nut.

Notes: 

1. Before use, check the wear condition of the anti-jump block on the lifting frame to ensure that the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) will not jump out of the pulley; 
2. When storing, strictly prohibit heavy objects from hitting the pulley to avoid deformation; 
3. The specification of the ground pulley should be selected according to the diameter of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) to prevent excessive bending of the steel wire or cable (steel wire rope) and resulting in fatigue damage; 
4. When the ground pulley is used in conjunction with the landing bracket, it can prevent the steel wire from suddenly loosening and causing the pulley to be hit.
