I. Overview

The grease injection section is designed to provide a pressurized and return system for the grease injection pipe and the grease injection sealing head. When the wire or cable is in operation, the high-pressure grease output from the grease injection pump enters the lower part of the flow restrictor pipe and flows upward, finally being discharged from the upper outlet of the flow pipe. This creates a high pressure value within the flow restrictor pipe, achieving the purpose of lubricating the cable (or wire) and sealing the wellhead pressure. 

The hydraulic control section mainly consists of oil pumps, accumulators, directional valves, safety valves and other supporting equipment, enabling a rapid and safe switching device for the blowout preventer, blowout control box, upper catcher, lower catcher, anti-drop device, etc. All operations are integrated on the operation panel, making it convenient for operation.

III. Structural Characteristics

1. The hydraulic injection pump is divided into three major systems: the intake assembly, the injection system, and the hydraulic control system, which are all installed on the same frame; 

2. The intake assembly mainly consists of the air source main valve, pipelines, pressure regulators, etc.; 

3. The injection system mainly consists of the injection pump, high-pressure needle valve, injection drum, BOP drum, injection hose, discharge drum, and pipeline assembly, etc. 

4. The hydraulic control system mainly consists of the hydraulic control drive pump, accumulator, control valves, hydraulic hoses, drums, and pipeline assembly, etc.

5. Both the grease injection system and the hydraulic system are equipped with their own oil (grease) storage tanks (storage boxes can be optionally provided). 

6. The grease injection pump and the hydraulic control drive pump are driven by pneumatic means for grease/suction. 

7. The grease injection system and the hydraulic control system can operate independently or simultaneously.

Maintenance and servicing

1. Regularly add lubricating oil to the oil misters in the intake system. It is recommended to use N32 (20#) oil in winter and N46 (30#) oil in summer; 
2. Conduct pipeline sealing tests regularly.
